Brotherhood what is romulus treasure

The entrance, though located next to the Pyramid of Cestius , led into the Catacombs of Rome. To reach the shrine, Ezio first traversed the catacombs, until he arrived at a large hall, where he encountered two Followers of Romulus. He attempted to converse with them, asking them for their leader.

Ignoring Ezio's request, the men hurriedly left the hall through an exit at the upper level of the room, severing the rope they had used to escape. Ezio scaled the giant hall and followed the path they had taken, before arriving at another room. Here, he was surrounded by a group of Followers with weapons drawn. The Followers attacked Ezio, and after dealing with the first wave of attackers, he scaled the multi-leveled room, defeating Followers on each of the floors.

Upon reaching the top, Ezio left through an archway, and arrived at the shrine. This entrance was located at the ground level of the Colosseum , between the inner and outer walls, and just behind the stage of the Colosseum play. After entering the lair, Ezio made his way through the decrepit corridor once used to house the gladiators of old, and soon encountered an individual sitting motionless on a chair.

As Ezio reached out to the man, he was revealed to be a Follower of Romulus, who swiped his dagger at Ezio and smashed the chair against the wall. A voice bellowed down from a raised platform further down the corridor, where a leader dressed in a Jubilee costume ordered a group of Followers to kill Ezio.

After defeating the attackers, Ezio shouted a question up to the leader, who only denied his demands and fled. The chase continued until Ezio arrived at a crowded masked party. Upon discovering the leader hidden among the crowd, Ezio chased him to another large corridor.

Jumping on a horse , the leader made another attempt at an escape, but was soon followed by Ezio, who had commandeered a horse of his own. After a short chase, the pair eventually arrived at another room filled with Followers of Romulus. Ezio defeated his attackers and assassinated the leader.

The entrance to the lair was located inside one of the gardens. Ezio entered the decrepit, maze-like ruins of the Lateran Palace , the former residence of the Pope. Making his way through the palace, Ezio reached a basilica, which was also the location of a shrine to Romulus.

Realizing the chamber was inaccessible due to a large steel gate, Ezio scanned the room for a different means to enter. To do so, Ezio sought out and destroyed the sand bag weights holding a large chandelier in place, resulting in the chandelier breaking free of its supports, swinging across the room, and knocking over a large cross.

The cross fell, destroying the gate and allowing Ezio to enter the shrine. After Ezio had funded the renovation of all the damaged aqueducts , he discovered an entrance to a lair located over one of the pools, in the Cloaca Maxima. Accepted Answer. Its basically the same thing that you get in ac2 for completing all of the assassin's tombs.

You get some BA armor and a BA dagger. So completing all of the Romulus quests is worth it. User Info: Xertrikeoth. Top Voted Answer.

Armor and a weapon. User Info: bobbychez. Other Answers. I am still working on the getting the armor. But for the slight question as to Brutus, he is the man who betrayed and assisted in the mass stabbing of Julius Ceasar.

The treasure of romulus is the armour of brutus and the dagger of brutus i just got it myself it doesn't take very long to get but is worth the little bit of trouble to get it I still have no clue who this bruts guy is tho so User Info: Cannabis There's a second sand bag to shoot down, causing another reaction. Use a leap of faith into a straw pile below and use the same passage you opened previously to get back to the second level of the hall.

There's a third sandbag in the southwest corner to shoot down. This finally opens up the gate to the north, letting you grab the key from the main treasure chest and climb a ladder down to the lair's exit. You can easily spot the entrance for this lair on the north side of a small stairway. Once underground, proceed until you wander into the middle of a mass that's ending. Use Eagle Vision to spot the target Cardinal to the southwest. There are guards whose detection you need to avoid, and as well you need to stay hidden from the Cardinal.

Blend in with a nearby group and follow them eastward. The Cardinal will wander around a bit before moving through a gate to the south. Stay with him, but stay away from guards. Once through the gate yourself, it's time to chase down the Cardinal. The chase sequence makes up most of the mission and everything is pretty straight forward. Be quick, but don't rush things. Be methodical in your camera positioning so that all of your movements are straight and crisp, as making an error will waste more time than cautious progression.

Eventually you'll run the Cardinal into a dead end and he'll have to fight you. He doesn't put up much fight, making this quite easy. When he's dead, take a leap of faith out the window to grab the chest item and exit the lair. Getting to the entrance of this lair is a bit tricky. The icon on the map leads you to the middle of a camp.

Go just east of the camp to find a hole in the ground you can drop to. You'll find the lair entrance in a cave under the camp. Note that the area you drop into should be full of water, allowing you to swim to the ledge with the passage.

If there's no water in the pit, look for a nearby architect and pay him to repair the aqueduct. Aqueducts in disrepair can't supply the water needed to get here. The mission starts with a chase scene, you running down the one follower of Romulus that tears east through the sewers. Do your best to keep up with him, though you'll be interrupted frequently by other follows that try to fight you.

Ignore them. Charge through the lesser followers with your shoulder down while sprinting, press and hold the grab button to shoulder charge. You should be able to go right through the enemies, though the ones throwing knives will occasionally hit you and there's not much you can do about it.

If you jump just before getting hit by a throwing knife, Ezio won't slow down. Keep up the chase until you reach an area where you're forced to fight.

Getting full synchronisation in this mission requires you not lose more than 10 units of health. Most of the damage you'll take in this mission comes from the jerks throwing knives. Since you can't really defend against knives, make sure you're in the faces of your enemies. Use execution streaks to take them out quickly.

After killing to a second group of enemies, climb over the wall to the west and continue the chase. Same as before, you'll be interrupted by enemies, but you can just charge through them with your shoulder down. You're forced into another fight as one Romulus follower sacrifices the other runners to you. Clear the lower area and climb some rubble to reach the second level of the room. Expect a couple more enemies on the second level. From here you'll need to jump onto the west wall and shimmy north right before eventually jumping into the water to the east.

And then more chasing through the sewers. You'll reach what seems to be a dead end and get surrounded by enemies. You can stick around and fight, or simply run up the wooden shelves to the south to continue moving east to the final area. Two waves of enemies will pour into the area. Do your best to rush the enemies and prevent them from launching loads of throwing knives at you. Kill them all and the leader will eventually drop down to your level. The leader isn't particularly strong so just take him out like you would any other enemy.

With the area cleared, run up the northern wall and shimmy around to a waterfall. A backward jump will put you on a ledge with a lever. The lever opens a gate to the end of the lair. Plumber Discover the Shrine in the Cloaca Maxima.
